The ginger and black pepper really come through and cut the turmeric’s earthiness, so it tastes warm rather than medicinal. I’ve been having a cup instead of my afternoon coffee, and the ashwagandha makes it feel properly calming without making me sleepy.

I was skeptical about ashwagandha in a latte, but it blends so smoothly with the turmeric that I actually feel calmer after my evening cup. The black pepper gives it a warmth that makes the whole thing taste more like a spiced treat than a health drink.

The ginger and black pepper give it just enough warmth to make the ashwagandha and turmeric feel grounding instead of medicinal. I’ve been making it with oat milk before bed, and it’s become my favorite wind-down ritual — the powder dissolves cleanly with a quick whisk, no clumps.
