A relatively new genre in the chocolate world, "Dark Milk" combines the best of both worlds. It has the creamy texture and mouthfeel that a lot of us grew up on, as well as the rich, deep complexity of a nice dark chocolate. A nice treat on its own, this chocolate bar will also be a great addition to your charcuterie board or chopped up for the ultimate chocolate chip cookies.
The balance here is honestly perfect—that creamy, familiar melt gives way to a deep cocoa finish that lingers just long enough. I broke off a square expecting one thing and got a much more interesting, complex bite. This dark milk thing might be my new go-to.
It’s rare that a chocolate lives up to the “dark milk” label, but this one nails the balance. The creamy mouthfeel is spot on, and that 52% cacao still gives it a deep, satisfying richness without any bitterness.
Cracked the bar open expecting something thin, but the break was clean and the texture is genuinely creamy in the mouth, almost like a childhood treat but with a deep, roasted finish that lingers. I've already gone through two bars this week — it's dangerous how easy it is to eat.
