We teamed up with our friend and Leborne Coaching founder Scotti Lechuga to create and produce a limited Onyx Team bike kit. For the roadies out there who enjoy world class specialty coffee and never settle for good enough. ;) Designed with a minimal aesthetic in mind but also influenced by vintage Peugot-Michelin jerseys of the 60s.

Tech Specs:

  • Sun Protection: UPF 28+ throughout.
  • YKK Locking Zipper: A lightweight design that eliminates zipper bulge while riding and smoothly operates with one hand.
  • Three Deep Pockets: Rear storage pockets have ample room to bring along ride essentials and more. 
  • Wicking and Breathable: Polyester fabric channels moisture away from skin for better evaporative cooling.
  • Reflective Accents: A little extra flash on the rear pocket binding for increased visibility.
  • Silicone Waist Gripper: Specially patterned for a secure fit that prevents jersey creep.

  • Performance Fabric: Genesis 100-percent Polyester fabric is exceptionally soft and wicking.
  • Soft Feel: Micro denier yarns are comfy and smooth while providing improved durability.
  • Hemmed Arm Bands: Performance stitching adds stretch without the slip to mid length arm cuffs.
  • USA-Made: Hand sewn right here on the West Coast of the USA.
  • Sustainably Milled: US-Produced Genesis fabric meets stringent environmental, employment and safety standards.

    The limited-edition Onyx design pairs perfectly with my morning espresso rides, and the fabric feels surprisingly sturdy for a kit made for casual roadies. The jersey fit runs true to size and the fabric wicks sweat even on humid 20-mile loops. It’s become my go-to for café spins.

    The coffee-themed design is a nice nod to the cycling crew, but the jersey runs small in the shoulders and the fabric feels a bit heavier than I'd like for summer rides. Fit aside, the stitching seems solid and the back pockets hold my phone and a snack fine.

    The fabric is quite stiff out of the box and the fit runs a bit small, but the coffee-themed details are a fun nod to the design. I've worn it a few times on shorter rides and it's fine, just not as comfortable as I'd hoped for the price.
