Fellow, makers of the Stagg Pour-Over Kettle, knocked it out of the park again. This time they worked on their own version of the pour-over brewer. This brewer is similar to other flat-bottom pour-over brewers in look and usage. But it has everything you need to brew in one package. Pour-over brewer - check, filters - check, sweet double-walled glass - check. It even comes with a bottom for your brewer to collect any extra drips, no more getting yelled at by your spouse for leaving coffee drips on the counter (really though, even if you do make them, just clean them up). The dripper bottom is also a convenient measure for your coffee grinds. They thought of it all!

The valve on the bottom drips a little slower than I expected, but the even extraction from the flat base makes a noticeably cleaner cup than my old cone. It’s a solid upgrade for everyday brewing, just be patient with the flow.

The flat bottom really does make a difference—the coffee bed stays even and the extraction tastes cleaner than with my old conical dripper. I just wish the brewer came with a matching carafe instead of requiring a separate server, but the ceramic body holds heat beautifully.
