Panama Finca Deborah Nirvana Gesha - Main image
$16.5 $33 In stock

Category: Coffee

Produced by the legendary Jamison Savage, this anaerobic natural Gesha has been featured on the competition stage for many seasons. With notes of strawberry and rose, this Gesha is bright and tart, with the delicate and elegant florals you’d come to expect from a top Gesha grown in Panama. After tasting this coffee in Panama early this year, we reserved this as the inaugural Echelon offering from Jamison and his team.

Penelope ★★★★★

Brewed this as a pour-over and the strawberry came through so clean and tart, almost juicy. The anaerobic natural process gives it a wilder edge than the washed Geshas I've had, and I'm here for it.

The rose note is what got me — it lingers after the strawberry fades, which I didn't expect from a natural process. Brewed it as a pour-over at 1:16 and the tartness stayed bright without turning sour. Easily the cleanest Gesha I've had this year.

The strawberry acidity hits right up front and then fades into this delicate floral finish that lingers for minutes. I roasted it light and let it rest two weeks, and the cup was genuinely tart and bright without any harshness. Competition-level stuff for sure.
