Category: Tea

This earl grey is a careful blend of two distinct and complementary single origin teas: a whole leaf dianhong black tea from central Yunnan province, China and a bright ceylon single estate tea from Kenilworth, Sri Lanka. The blend is combined with cold-pressed bergamot oil from a family farm in southern Italy, then air-dried. This method maintains freshness and produces a vibrant, easy-drinking cup with a smooth body and notes of grapefruit peel and fragrant citrus. Very enjoyable on its own, this tea also acts as a great component in a mixed drink or with milk.

Ava ★★★★★

Switched to this from supermarket tea bags and the difference is obvious — you can actually taste the ceylon brightness underneath the bergamot instead of just one flat flavor. The 500g bag lasted me about two months of daily mugs, which felt like solid value.

I was expecting the usual bergamot-heavy cup, but the bright ceylon breaks through and keeps it from tasting flat. The 500g bag lasted me nearly two months of daily brewing, which is better value than I figured.

James ★★★★★

The Yunnan dianhong base gives this a malty depth that most earl greys are missing, and the ceylon keeps it from tasting muddy. I've been brewing a pot every morning for two weeks and the 500g bag is holding up well.
