Category: Tea

This organic chai is a distinctly unique Onyx blend that starts with a base of single estate black tea from Iyerpadi Estate, one of the highest tea estates in the world nestled in the Nilgiris, the "Blue Mountains" of Southern India. The featured spices include ginger root, cinnamon, cardamom pods, clove, lemon-grass, and Gochugaru, a sun-dried Korean red pepper. The brewed tea is a balance of savory heat and warm sweetness, producing the ultimate cup of chai with a full body and delicate lingering spice notes. Very enjoyable on its own and comforting when paired with your favorite milk.

Charlotte ★★★★★

Didn't expect the black tea base to be this smooth, but you can really taste that it's single estate—no bitterness at all even when I oversteep it. The chili heat sneaks up gently after each sip and lingers just enough.

The gochujang adds this slow warmth that builds behind the chai spices instead of hitting you all at once. I've been brewing it strong with a splash of milk on cold mornings, and the black tea base holds up without turning bitter.

Emily ★★★★☆

The single estate black tea base is genuinely smooth, no bitterness even when I oversteeped it by a minute. The chai spice and gochujang heat take some getting used to, but by the second cup I was sold.
