Cusco is a fascinating growing region with soaring heights and unique microclimates, yielding coffees like this, bursting with acidity and complex sweetness. This coffee performs exceedingly well as a filter offering.
The sweetness really comes through even in a pour-over, and that delicate floral note lingers long after the cup is empty. Knowing it’s grown at those soaring altitudes by the Solorzano family makes each sip feel a little more special. Definitely ordering another bag before this one runs out.
Brewed my first cup at 1:16 ratio and the sweetness really came through clean and delicate, exactly as the description hints. Cusco's altitude definitely shows in the clarity. Already ordered a second bag.
