The strawberry acidity hits right up front and then fades into this delicate floral finish that lingers for minutes. I roasted it light and let it rest two weeks, and the cup was genuinely tart and bright without any harshness. Competition-level stuff for sure.
Brewed this as a pour-over and the rose notes came through so clearly it felt like I was drinking something from a florist’s counter. The strawberry tartness on the finish kept it lively without ever going sour. Competition-level coffee that actually delivers at home.
Opened the bag and the strawberry aroma hit me before I even ground it. That anaerobic natural process really delivers on the rose and tart brightness, and it brewed clean with zero harshness. Paid a premium, but for a Gesha this vibrant, it's worth every penny.
