薩爾瓦多 Santa Rosa

Brewed this washed El Salvador as a pour-over and the grape sweetness comes through first, then settles into something deeper and almost jammy. The rose shows up more in the aroma than the taste for me, which I actually prefer.

Brewed a cup this morning and the grape note really comes through in the finish, almost like a light fruit tea. The rose is more of a gentle aroma than a loud flavor, which I appreciated. Nice clean, sweet cup for a slow weekend pour-over.

The sweetness here is what gets me—it’s like a natural candy depth that lingers long after the cup, and that grape note comes through so cleanly. I brewed it in my pour-over and the rose aroma hit me right at the first sip. Honestly, this is the kind of coffee that makes you slow down.
