Denne vaskede kaffe fra Halo er fra vores ven Abenezer hos Origin Lands Coffee. Dette nye projekt har givet os to af vores yndlingskaffer i sæsonen, hvor Halo skiller sig ud. Med delikate noter af hvid te og lime er denne heirloom-sort kompleks i sin citrussyre, med sødmen fra moden fersken, som bliver hængende på ganen.
First sip and I already knew this was a keeper—that delicate washed profile is so clean and bright, it practically glows in the cup. Brewed it as a pour-over and the sweetness lingered long after each sip. Easily one of my favorite coffees of the season.
The washed process really lets the delicate notes shine through — it's one of the smoothest cups I've brewed this season. Just wish the bag had a bit more detail on roasting date, but the flavor alone makes it worth it.
The washed process gives it a clean, bright cup that's pleasant enough, though I found the flavor a bit too delicate for my usual morning brew. It's a solid coffee, just not one I'd rush to reorder.
