Dieser gewaschene Kaffee von Halo stammt von unserem Freund Abenezer von Origin Lands Coffee. Dieses neue Unternehmen hat uns zwei unserer Lieblingskaffees der Saison beschert, wobei Halo der herausragende ist. Mit feinen Noten von weißem Tee und Limette ist diese Erbstücksorte komplex in ihrer Zitrus-Säure, mit der Süße reifer Pfirsiche, die am Gaumen anhält.
First sip and I already knew this was a keeper—that delicate washed profile is so clean and bright, it practically glows in the cup. Brewed it as a pour-over and the sweetness lingered long after each sip. Easily one of my favorite coffees of the season.
The washed process really lets the delicate notes shine through — it's one of the smoothest cups I've brewed this season. Just wish the bag had a bit more detail on roasting date, but the flavor alone makes it worth it.
The washed process gives it a clean, bright cup that's pleasant enough, though I found the flavor a bit too delicate for my usual morning brew. It's a solid coffee, just not one I'd rush to reorder.
