Grazie al nostro rapporto di lunga data con Red Fox Coffee, Yukro è prodotto da piccoli agricoltori a Wanja Kersa, nella regione occidentale di Agaro, in Etiopia. Il raccolto anticipato di Agaro rende questo uno dei primi caffè lavati etiopi freschi ad arrivare ogni anno, mentre la lavorazione meticolosa presso la stazione di lavaggio Yukro offre un profilo pulito, dolce e floreale con una notevole longevità. Abbastanza versatile sia per il servizio monorigine che per le miscele, Yukro sarà una pietra miliare del nostro programma estivo di caffè 2026.

Brewed my first cup this morning and the early harvest really shows — there's a bright, clean brightness that I haven't gotten from most Ethiopian beans lately. The smallholder sourcing gives it a nice story, but honestly the cup quality speaks for itself.

The fruit-forward profile from these Agaro beans is genuinely different from anything else I've brewed this season. Ground them for pour-over and the sweetness carried through the whole cup, front to back. Already ordered another bag.

The earlier harvest means I got my first cup of the season before my usual roaster even had Ethiopia in stock, which was a nice surprise. The beans are clean and bright, though I’d love a bit more body to make it a daily driver. Still, for a light roast fan, this is a solid bag.
