Este é um micro-lote descafeinado infundido com fruta, único, do nosso amigo Sebastian Ramirez. O Sebas experimenta frequentemente no El Placer com a adição de fruta durante o processo de fermentação, e este café em particular foi co-fermentado com frutos vermelhos, conferindo um forte sabor a fruta ao longo de toda a experiência de degustação.
The fruit-fermented notes really come through in the cup—sweet and almost jammy without any of the bitterness I usually get from decaf. I’ve tried it both as a pour-over and in my moka pot, and it holds up beautifully either way.
Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from a decaf, but this one completely surprised me. The fruit-infused fermentation from Sebastian's experiments adds a lovely, subtle sweetness that makes it taste way more complex than your average afternoon cup.
