The 5lb bag is a solid value for daily milk-based drinks, and the roast blends smoothly with oat milk without turning bitter. It’s not the most complex espresso I’ve tried, but for a rich, dependable crema pull it does the job.
The roast is dark enough that it holds its own against oat milk without turning bitter, and it steamed into a silky texture for my morning lattes. Takes a few shots to dial in the grind, but once you hit it, the crema is well worth the bag size.
Got this for our home espresso setup and it pulls a really nice shot with oat milk. The roast is dark enough to cut through the milk but doesn't turn bitter, which is exactly what I hoped for. Only wish the bag had a resealable zipper since 5 pounds takes a while to get through.
