Brewed my first cup this morning and the early harvest really shows — there's a bright, clean brightness that I haven't gotten from most Ethiopian beans lately. The smallholder sourcing gives it a nice story, but honestly the cup quality speaks for itself.
The fruit-forward profile from these Agaro beans is genuinely different from anything else I've brewed this season. Ground them for pour-over and the sweetness carried through the whole cup, front to back. Already ordered another bag.
The earlier harvest means I got my first cup of the season before my usual roaster even had Ethiopia in stock, which was a nice surprise. The beans are clean and bright, though I’d love a bit more body to make it a daily driver. Still, for a light roast fan, this is a solid bag.
