Blend Cycle

The bag arrived with a roast date just a few days old, and that freshness comes through in every cup—the crema is thick and the flavor holds up beautifully as it cools. I've been through three bags now and it's consistent each time, which is exactly what I want from a daily driver.

I was skeptical because blends usually feel like a cop-out, but this one actually respects the coffee—it’s balanced without hiding anything, and the roast level feels intentional. I’ve been grinding it every morning for a week now, and it’s the first blend that doesn’t taste like a compromise.

The fact that the roaster bothered to put a roast date on the bag tells me they care about freshness, and the blend itself is surprisingly balanced without any of that harsh, burnt aftertaste I usually expect. Only gripe is the bag isn’t resealable, so I had to transfer the beans to a jar.
