Sebas experimenteert bij El Placer vaak met het toevoegen van fruit tijdens het fermentatieproces, en deze specifieke koffie is meegefermenteerd met rood fruit, wat tijdens het drinken een sterke fruitsmaak geeft.
The fruit-fermented notes really come through in the cup—sweet and almost jammy without any of the bitterness I usually get from decaf. I’ve tried it both as a pour-over and in my moka pot, and it holds up beautifully either way.
Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from a decaf, but this one completely surprised me. The fruit-infused fermentation from Sebastian's experiments adds a lovely, subtle sweetness that makes it taste way more complex than your average afternoon cup.
