Deze gewassen koffie van Halo is van onze vriend Abenezer bij Origin Lands Coffee. Dit nieuwe project heeft ons twee van onze favoriete koffies van het seizoen opgeleverd, met Halo als uitblinker. Met delicate tonen van witte thee en limoen is deze erfgoedvariëteit complex in zijn citroenzuur, met de zoetheid van rijpe perzik die op de tong blijft hangen.
First sip and I already knew this was a keeper—that delicate washed profile is so clean and bright, it practically glows in the cup. Brewed it as a pour-over and the sweetness lingered long after each sip. Easily one of my favorite coffees of the season.
The washed process really lets the delicate notes shine through — it's one of the smoothest cups I've brewed this season. Just wish the bag had a bit more detail on roasting date, but the flavor alone makes it worth it.
The washed process gives it a clean, bright cup that's pleasant enough, though I found the flavor a bit too delicate for my usual morning brew. It's a solid coffee, just not one I'd rush to reorder.
